ROBERT M. SIRKLE LODGE NO. 954 553 ROSEMONT GARDEN LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY 40503 Chartered October 21, 1964 Robert M. Sirkle Lodge No. 954 F&AM meeting room is located in the basement of the Scottish Rite Building. Open dinner is served at 6:30pm and Stated meetings start at 7:30pm. All Master Masons are welcome to attend. Robert M. Sirkle was born in Yarnaby, Oklahoma on December 30, 1910. Robert received his MD from Cincinnati Medical School and satisfied his internship at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Having been raised in Wheelwright Lodge No. 889 located in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Robert was an active Mason. Robert received the Consistory Degrees in 1945 and the Royal Council in 1948. Robert was elected Grand Master Grand Lodge of Kentucky 1952 - 1953. Robert was past Potentate of El Hasa Temple, Ashland Kentucky1954 and at the time of his death in 1997 the Senior Past Grand Sovereign Grand Inspector General Honorary Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Robert Milton Sirkle instituted Robert M. Sirkle Lodge No.954, Lexington, Kentucky in 1964 and the Lexington Scottish Rite Bodies in 1971. Robert served as the president of the Masonic Widows and Orphans Home Board and Infirmary and was Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Order of Demolay Bluegrass Chapter.
